Data we collect

  • Identity and contact details you submit via forms or email (name, email, telephone if provided)
  • Enquiry content, including the review type selected and message text
  • Technical data such as IP address and basic server logs needed to operate the site
  • Engagement documents you supply (which may include personal data of PDMRs and staff) under a scope letter

Purposes and lawful bases

  • Responding to enquiries — legitimate interests in operating our practice, and/or steps prior to contract
  • Performing a review engagement — performance of contract
  • Operating and securing the website — legitimate interests
  • Meeting legal obligations — legal obligation

Retention

Enquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four months unless a longer period is needed for an ongoing engagement or dispute. Engagement files are retained for six years after the engagement ends, unless a longer period is required by law or agreed with counsel. Server logs are typically rotated within ninety days.

Sharing

We use hosting and email providers who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. Where engagement documents are shared with your instructed solicitors, that sharing is at your direction.

International transfers

If a processor stores data outside the United Kingdom, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations where applicable.

Your rights
